What is the Dance Attack Pom & Dance Team?
The Dance Attack Pom & Dance team is a precision dance line. The team’s performances include: The Phoenix Suns, AZ State Fair, NAU Lumberjacks, Harlem Globetrotters, AZ Sting, AZ Rattlers, Disneyland & California Adventure, Carnival Cruise Lines, Chandler Light Parade, Queen Creek, Higley & Basha High Schools, just to name a few! They also perform at Schnepf Farms Fall Festival.
These girls are of ages 4-18 and include beginning through advanced levels. We teach each individual dancer and help them thrive at their own level as well as at a team level. We encourage beginning dancers to join our team! Our dancers develop and grow at a rapid rate preparing them for Professional Auditions, Cheerleading, Pageants and Pom & Dance Lines. Four to five years old is the best age to get your children active and involved. We teach self-esteem, discipline, teamwork and dedication. Every year we get our girls involved in charity work. This last year we had a stuffed toy drive for the children in Haiti (delivered by some caring doctors and nurses) after the tragic earthquake had left many children sick and/or without parents. We also supported Jose’s Closet, an organization that collects needed items for foster families. We strive to teach our dancers values that will last a lifetime. Each dancer is a part of something more than themselves…
THEY ARE A TEAM!!
We are very excited to introduce our program for 2010-2011. Our program targets all levels of ability, dedication, time and financial commitment. All groups are a part of the Dance Attack Pom & Dance Team and will get to experience the wonderful art of dance through team work.
Within the Dance Attack Pom & Dance Team there are three separate groups of performers. Our Dream Team & Shooting Stars Team will be involved with the half-time show presentation and performances throughout the community. The All-Star Team will mainly focus on the competitive aspect of dance, with a few performances, and the professional industry of auditions and choreography. We have designed the program so that each group is receiving the best training possible and with hard work and dedication they will excel. Our Dance Attack Staff is excited to be a part of your children’s lives, and to help develop and create a love and devotion for the beautiful art of dance.
